Biography
Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that has served the Naperville area since 1984. Business and community partnerships are integral to the success of Loaves & Fishes, which serves all of DuPage County.
In the fiscal year ended June 30, 2013, 18,564 individuals visited 122,932 times and received 3,272,680 pounds of groceries. Additionally, their Pathways to Empowerment programs assist people with issues preventing them from being self-sufficient. These on-site programs are offered by partner agencies on topics such as English language proficiency, nutrition education, basic financial skills, job search support, income tax preparation, and public benefits enrollment.

Loaves and Fishes believes that food is a right and not a privilege. They provide healthy food options in a dignified and respectful manner. They also help people understand that assistance that is available to the individual or to families regarding SNAP, LIHEAP, the Affordable Care Act, Health Assessments, Dental Screenings, Computer Classes, English Classes (ESL), Nutrition and Grocery Shopping, Job Search, and Medical Insurance.
Loaves & Fishes Community Services serves the Naperville area and all of DuPage County, Illinois, including: Aurora, Bartlett, Bensenville, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Darien, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Lisle, Lombard, Oak Brook, Roselle, Villa Park, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton, Willowbrook, Winfield, Woodridge.
